Seeking Ithaca/Upstate NY Burners

I thought it might be fun/useful for us to be in contact re this year's BM, perhaps for travel and other arrangements, or contacts at BM, or activities in our area. I am 57 and will probably be volunteering for the BM emergency services, and therefore plan to arrive at BM a day or two early.

Hey there!

I'm from Rochester, NY and have gone for 3 years. We've got a rather fragmented community up here. There is a Rochester Burners Tribe and a Yahoo! Group but neither are very active. That said, I've met about 25-30 people who go.

My travel plans are a bit different from most because my brother and my best friend both live in Denver so I go there for a few days before finishing the trek across the mountains. Oh -- yeah -- driving. Once again, I doubt there will be a cubic inch of space left in the car.
