Sacramento Area Fire Dancers

Hey everyone,

I have been spinning poi for a while and just started doing fire with my Burning Man mates in Alameda, but we don't get together that often. I'm looking for some people in the Sacramento area to spin fire with. I still consider myself a beginner to both poi and fire and would like to get quite a bit of practice in before the heading to the playa, and I am not comfortable enough to spin alone.

Are there any groups meeting regularly, or anyone who would like to meet up to spin? I am in the midtown area of Sacramento. Also, where are good places to practice..... I don't have any space at my apartment. Are public parks ok?
