As the hard and glam rock gods of the “70’s spread their hedonistic seeds far and wide, the 1980’s bore witness to the birth of their only bastard child...Heavy Metal. Characterized by a mindset that favored strong drugs, crowded limousines, the banishment of brown M&M‚s... the pampered musicians of Heavy Metal were notorious for cultivating their indulgent lifestyle wherever they saw fit: the hotel room, in the studio, on the road, and most notably.... backstage.

The party will feature the head-banging‚ sounds of the band ÜMLAÜT on the opening night of their farewell, comeback reunion tour, "Spandex and Speed."

Dress to blend in back stage: roadies, journalists, groupies, promoters, record company execs, and heavy metal attire strongly encouraged! $25 gets you backstage and includes champagne toast and free stretch limousine shuttle to and from the Carroll Street F subway stop.
