Orange County/LA County Burners...please respond
Hey all, I am going solo for my virgin burn this summer. Looking to meet new people and learn more...maybe even set up a caravan. Introduce yourselves! Thanks so much!
Finally moving to SF...can't WAIT!

Heya, veggie eating singing woman. There is lots of stuff that goes on in this area. We do a lot of stuff out of LA county. About 21 people from the Tiki Fuckos, (our burningman camp) are going to Elysium. It's a burner type event near San Diego. Worth the drive.

One of our camp members sets up a camping trip every memorial day weekend and it's being worked on this year. I can keep you posted on that if you send me an e-mail or PM. If you reply in this thread and no one else does, I may miss it but I try to check my posts.

In a few weeks we'll probably have a bike ride up in Hesperia to CalEarth

We have a couple people who run meetup.com groups to keep people updated on stuff. Beyondbasecamp is one and Tiki Fuckos is another. We keep the Tiki Fuckos one private but will add people if we get to know them.

I know some burners going to this commercial event:Key notes,
DJ's / Dancing to the wee hours of the morning, no problem!
Hiking
Rock Climbing
Yoga
Dance class
Swimming
Mt. Biking
Movies in the Back Country!
Tent space - if you want your tent touching your friends tent, you may. If you want your tent far away from everyone else, no problem.
Nice rest-rooms and showers
90 minute drive from Los Angeles = less gas, we're trying to be as green as possible.
