Help! InSearchOf Burner 09 Halloween Events in New York City

Hello all you lovely East Coast Playa enthusiasts whom I have yet to meet!
I will be traveling to New York during Halloween festivities this year and I would very much find the best place to be. I am unfamiliar with the NYC burning man scene and would like to get better acquainted as I travel to New York fairly often. I saw on another forum post that there will be some floats in the Halloween Parade and I am wondering if there is space available to catch a ride with the cool cats that are cruising in the madness, and if so how I might contact folks. I would love to be involved! I would love to have an epic Halloween in New York this year as it will be my first time to be around at this time of year and I know that my fellow burners know how and where to have the best time.
So if you have any info for me, or you wouldn't mind one more awesome little lady tagging along with your crew, it would be much appreciated.

Sent you a PM, but in case others are looking for similar information, I'd recommend checking out the NYC discussion list. Although there's only one announcement on there currently for a Halloween event, I'm sure there will be more as we get closer. After registering, you could post a query on that list, where you'll get more responses than on eplaya.
