I couldn't stay for more than an hour in the afternoon, and it was ony a pale shadow of the real thing, but still -- it gave me a nice memory pang. Thanks LA Decom.

I had a blast! Got to bring my partner to this event and give him a taste of what is to come (he is saving up to join me in 2011's burn). We liked the diverse amount of things out there and were pleased to see the art cars. Loved Boo Boo Kitty Camp's art car. Loved to see the kids interacting with its paws.

Greeting was sure fun for me as well. Met many people that way and got to hug as part of my "job". That is a job duty I could appreciate!:) My only "regret" was that I didnt get proper paper and pen in time to exchange contact with someone I met (He was the one that was working with petitions to legalize cannibus) outside the gate. As on playa, missed connections often happen. I even bumped into a couple people within some connecting interest groups. It was nice and there was always a change of pace.

Got lots of pictures!! Did you?

I really don't 'get' decom. What's the point? It's nothing like BM; and BM takes months to get ready for, two intense weeks on the playa that can't be duplicated; and two weeks to clean, unpack and recuperate.

When BM is over, I'm over BM--until next year. My partner forced me to go to decom this year and I was totally underwhelmed.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
