deck party in auckland CBD - friday, april 2nd

Post by Guest » Mon Mar 29, 2004 5:45 pm

hola all ye kiwis -

we're a couple burners living here in auckland until we make the flight to burningman in august. i've been to BM 5 times - and my buddy, steve, has been 7 times.

so we're throwing a cocktail party on our fab deck atop the dilworth building in downtown auckland. it's a rad penthouse, and we're excited to share the space with all ye burners and would-be burners. the theme for this party isn't so much focused on burningman, as it is mostly an occasion to get to know the folks around us. later, we plan to have more BM focused theme parties.

but we will have a video running of our previous year's experiencie on the playa, and always happy to talk about plans for this year's burn.

WHEN: friday night, april 2nd.

WHERE: 22-32 queen street, at the intersection of customs street. the actual entrance to the dilworth building is on customs, which is directly across the street from the mercure hotel. push button #3 to call up, and we'll buzz you in. take the first elevator - there's a security code needed to get to floor 8, so follow the instructions that we'll post in the elevator. we are unit 3 on the 8th floor.

WHAT: please bring a bottle of your favorite booze or anything you'd like to share. we'll have the BBQ fired up.

please call if you have any questions: 09-379-0229 or email.

hope to see ya'll there;)

Yeah, he emailed me but I just couldn't make it :)

Still don't have my plane tickets, they are like $2000 at the moment so I'm waiting for a cheaper fare. I'll be heading to SF about 23rd August. Do you know where you are camping yet?
