After watching a documentary years ago, I've been wanting to participate in Burning Man. Things have never really worked out in the past, but life circumstances have changed. This year, I'm going to take the bull by the horns and just plan things around Burning Man and barring any last minute emergencies or disasters, I'll be in Black Rock City this August-September. I'm combing over all the information on the website, but since this would be my first time, I'm wondering if there are any burners nearby (Moscow Area) who have participated in the event. I'm just looking for someone to bounce questions off of, get advice from, maybe even camp with, etc. If your willing to provide some sage advice to a Burning Man Newbie, I'd be extremely greatful.
Thanks,
AD

Virgin myself. Learned of Burning Man a week ago and buyin' a ticket for the ultimate ride in 2010. Going to volunteer for anything to help pull it off, so leaving asap if the need arises from Clarkston, WA.

Murphy strikes again
Well much to my dismay, circumstances have destroyed my plans for 2010, so I'm going to start prepping early for 2011. As disappointed as I am, I'm actually quite excited about being able to plan this out for 2011.
