Fully Immersive Virtual Reality Burn

Hey all,

So I've had this crazy dream almost my entire life - to "Create The Matrix", or a "Holodeck" type system where a simulated environment is perceptually real - so that you can mold, shape, and bend your reality .. digitally.

Over the years, I've researched how to make this happen. About two years ago, I formed a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing the development and adoption of "immersive technology" - technology that blurs the line between the physical and digital world. This year's burn I gave a talk at Playagon Village's Future Salon on it, and received great response :) My goal is to one day be able to give people the experience and feeling of being at the Playa, without having to physically be there.

On October 21st (two weeks away), our org will be hosting a world's first "Immersive Technology Summit", and I'd like to invite you all out to it! Anyways, hopefully some of you love this crazy tech too, and can make it out to the summit. but keep up the good work, most people cant handle the pressures of inner space and prefer the easy access that immersion tech provides to potential pyschonauts.


by the way, the term "Matrix" was already coined by the NSF about 10 years ago for the underlying network that will service our military and institutional systems as the "outernet" is now the domain of entertainment and social communication.
