SAN DIEGO BURNING MAN FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES EXPANDED VENUE
Building on the success of last year’s sold out festival, the San Diego Burning Man Film Festival screens on Saturday, February 19, 2011, at the UltraStar’s Mission Valley at Hazard Center Cinema from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with an after party to follow from 9:00 PM at Spin Nightclub in Old Town.

The Film Festival will feature films made by members of the worldwide Burning Man community. These films show the art, the wacky costumes, the fun and challenges of living and playing at Burning Man. The film festival will also show how Burners take their shared values home with them at the end of the week long festival, supporting interactive art year-round through the Black Rock Arts Foundation and helping others in need through Burners Without Borders.

PERFORMANCE ARTISTS, ART CARS AND ARTISANS
In addition to full length films and shorts, the event will have stilt walkers, hoop dancers and poi dancers who will be performing in the lobby and outside the theater, with art cars on display just outside the venue. Artisans from the local Burning Man community will be on hand to display and sell uniquely crafted clothing and artwork. There will also be information tables available for those who are interested in learning more about the San Diego Burning Man community.
