There's a Burnal Equinox event here in Nevada City.
But, they charge admission, so, not sure if it's kosher to post the poster and details.

Can someone advise?

Yggy, I was having lunch with Lucy today and she asked me if I was going to attend. I sort of shrugged my shoulders. She and the lovely sirens from Camp Incognito (Harmony, Kathleen, and the rest of the eye candy) intend to make it. Maybe I'll clear my schedule after all.

I'm from Grass Valley (I prefer Nevada City's vibe though) and I've been trying to find other burners from Nevada County besides people I know in real life. I've heard whisperings of a Gold Country camp...

I've not heard of a specific "gold country camp", but, I know there are several local groups that camp together out there.
I'm near Cedar Ridge, to be exact.

I lived out Highway 174 past Cedar Ridge, its nice out there.

Do you have any information on said groups? I'm interested to see how many of you I've seen/know from this area.

Burn Town is primarily made up of burners from Auburn-Foresthill-Applegate-Ophir. Barbie Death Camp originates in Newcastle with our tentacles reaching to Auburn, Colfax, Grass Valley, and of course the Sacramento valley. Maybe you should consider adjusting your focus? How "geographically desirable" do your fellow burners really need to be?

I'm was just curious to see who the group was made up of. I don't really have a single idea where I'm going to be camping yet, but honestly I'm not that worried about it.

there are lots of us here in Nevada County, and, as varied a demographic as you could ask for,

Butchers, Bakers, Candlestick makers.........
I don't know of any specific groups right locally, but, I'm sure they exist.
I'm a rogue camper, so, don't do the theme camp/group camp.
Just a few friends.
activities will come up as we approach the burn, so, going to those will help.
