LOCATION UPDATE: returning to our roots... We are pleased to announce that we are getting back to another part of our history by returning to Tidewater Falls where SOAK was first held. Tidewater Falls is a beautiful property that we assumed to have long-since outgrown. Since we left, Tidewater Falls has made substantial improvements to their grounds to allow for much larger gatherings and they will now be able to easily accommodate our event, with expected growth potentially for several years to come. And we AREN'T booking the place in early May as to minimize the chance of getting ... well, soaked. We'll be able to burn effigies, plenty of room for theme camps, you'll be strut your stuff in all your finery in this remote 80 acre property nestled against the National Forest/Wilderness Area.

Because of the availability of Tidewater Falls, SOAK* will be June 16-20, 2011 this year. (note: we fully expect to return SOAK* to the last weekend of June next year, but for now we are focused on 2011 and pleased to have this confirmed location). We know some of you set aside travel and vacation well in advance and sincerely apologize for inconvenience this shift in dates may create.

Tier 1, $45, available now until May 1
Tier 2, $50 available May until June 1st
Tier 3, $60 available June 1 to June 8th
No will call. No gate sales. Dogs by pre-registered lottery only.

I'm from Sacramento and have never been to Soak, but am thinking about mixin' it up this year and driving up to Portland to see Princess Gina and Oregon's awesomeness.

Whats the low down on art cars or mutant vehicles at TideWater Falls?

Do we need to register art cars?
Is Tidewater Falls bicycle friendly?
Are we talking foot paths, jeep trails, dirt roads?
Does anyone have a map of the location?
Are we talking sage brush, giant boulders, enormous pot holes, hills, ditches, lions?
Are there generator rules/guidelines?
Fire/fire cannon restrictions?
