5:00 PM - set up camps and cover the domes

8:00 PM - Greg Glover will have the honor of lighting the fire and lighting the music!

9:00 PM - NNPS hosts the nightly Poly Puddle under the Poly Shade - everyone is welcome!


Saturday, July 2nd, 2011

8:00 AM - Rod will lead an easy hiking tour of PermaBurn - shorter than 2 miles

10:00 AM - Quad tours of PermaBurn with Keith Wheeler

2:00 PM - Target practice on the firing line w/ Greg Glover

6:00 PM - Poly camp will host a pot-luck and Introduction to Polyamory presentation - everyone's invited to the West Tit. Bring what you have to share.

8:00 PM - music sponsored by Hib will be presented by BodhiSattva 13:20 and his evil twin PhaseThaseTensor - in the East Tit.

8:00 AM - Rod will lead a hike to the top of Arrowhead Peak - longer than 2 miles

10:00 AM - Quad tours of PermaBurn with Bob Garret

11:00 AM - PermaBurn meeting for members or those interested - in the East Tit

6:00 PM - Break camp or stay longer on as you like




PermaBurn will host an alternative camp-out to the 4th of Juplaya for Reno / Tahoe Burners - Old School!

For those who haven't been to the 4th of Juplaya, it can be a great time, but it's generally much hotter on the playa in July than it is in September. Plus BLM permit requirements keep it from having a camp so it's spread out in small camps for miles.

Alternatively, PermaBurn is 3000 feet higher and a lot cooler. PermaBurn is literally a square mile of grass and sage not far off highway 395 in northern California. It's owned by it's members - PermaBurn Collective LLC so there are no BLM requirements or restrictions. Once a year PermaBurn hosts this unofficial Burner camp-out to provide a space for Reno / Tahoe Burners to express themselves - ALT Juplaya. And we get to do it Old School:

ALT Juplaya will be an excellent opportunity to get out of your context and do some strategic planning for that big Burner project you have in mind. Better yet, come out and stage your prototype in a tolerant environment instead of disturbing your neighbors. Or just come out and enjoy the music and weekend with Burners.

This year we have a head start with construction. The two new domes set up last September are complete and in place just waiting for you to express yourself with covers and content. One will house the music venue, the other food prep and chill space. Come out an help us give them some character.
