Any Boston Area Burners?

Post by Paige » Sat Jul 10, 2004 12:47 pm

I feel like I'm all alone here in MA. I just joined the group, but I've known about Burning Man for a while. I've never gone to a burn, but Its something I'd really love to do.

If there are any other Bostonians around here, lemme know ^^

They are around. I admit there are fewer than I thought there would be. Check out the Yahoo groups and stuff like that. I thought there would be more Burners in Amherst and Worcester with all the college students around but west of Boston there seem to be only a few.

Good luck.

BostonBurns is the one that I have on my list of groups. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll see if I can find a link or something to send to you.
This MIGHT work:

Cool. Someone from New Hampshire! Did you go to what was it... that Burner thing a month ago or whenever it was? Sounds like it might have been near you.

I think both links end up at the same place. Or at least they try to. It's the same bunch of people in any case.

I don't get to the Meet n Greets because they are too far away from me (I'm 2 hours west) but it sounds like a lot of people have fun.

Hey Paige!

I'm in Lakeville, MA -- about 40 minutes south of Boston -- and I'm going to the Burn!

I'll pm you or email -- but wanted to post a public "hello" and see if there were any other New Englanders out there.

And thanks, BroadcastBurner, for the web link. I'll go check it out.

Looking forward to burning with you all! This year will be my first.

Joya

Unfortunately, I have put off my plans for BM until next year. But I *will* be going next year. I've also always wanted to drive cross-country, so I really have no excuse for not doing this!

I'm just south of Boston, but not so far I can't walk to the red line :)

I would be very into the idea of getting a New England caravan together. But again that's all for 2005 at this point!

Neighbors!! Cool. I am camping with Burning Friends, aka L-A F camp and we are also at Mercury 7:00.

So Cool. I checked you out before, but decided that I'd rather be a Lazy-Ass Fucker than a doctor or whatever.

How are you getting out there? Are you driving? What about others? We are driving, and looking for others who are driving from this area.
