Concept Behind Miss Black Rock City 2004

hello all! i wrote this for a thread on the new miss black rock city tribe, thought it might be on topic for this board as well:

i want to point out an important aspect of the pageant that is not to be missed - it is also about seeing the various regions / camps / villages / campers of black rock city represented in one event. burning man is a sort of meeting of the tribes, so to speak - and pageants are a time honored manner in which to give props to the smaller parts of any given whole. when people cheer for their favorite contestant, it isnt JUST about beauty - its also about who or what they represent. especially at this pageant, where people give themselves their own titles. if that makes sense.

i made a PSA for the project! its self-produced and it sounds like it, but i dont care - i did it! yay!
