The Temple for Christchurch

Postby hippie_nz » Fri Mar 30, 2012 6:17 pm

This is a project we're working on here in Christchurch, New Zealand to take the tradition of the Temple at Burning Man and reimagine it here to allow people to process and release the emotional trauma of over 18 months of earthquakes.

We're asking the Burning Man community to come to together and support this project to help bring the Temple experience to a city in dire need to let go.

You might want to go to your profile and uncheck "Disable BBCode" so that the links will work right.

(I gave the OP's post an edit so the links work).

It's worth noting that this project is one of the recipients of an 2012 art grant from the Black Rock Arts Foundation. Click here to check the complete list.
