Looking for Hawaii burners

Aloha,

A tribe (http://kapilina.tribe.net) has been created by Ka Pilina, the Burning Man Hawaii Regional group for Hawaii burners to communicate. If you live here in the islands and want to join the growing burner communities on Kauai, Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island than check out our tribe and join in.

Ka Pilina has been around for 2+ years and already we have had a number of beach events and a couple of urban events in addition to monthly gatherings and workshops. 2005 is shaping up to be our most active year yet with between 2-4 large events, a bunch of urban events, and a lot more gatherings, parties, workshops, and other happenings. Join us today, we can't keep all this fun to ourselves.

My partner and I will be in Maui for NYE - any burners doing any parties or fun on Maui for the NYE event? We are looking to meet folks, enjoy some good conversation and good music and good times. We would love to find a burner crowd to hang out with for the trip of the year to the new one.

I believe Dick, the Maui Ka Pilina Island Coordinator is throwing a NYE bash. Yoiu can email him at [email protected] I am sure there will be a bunch of burners. Drop him a line and have fun.

Thanks fo much - just got on-line again for the first time since leaving Palm Springs this week. I dropped them an email, and hope to hear from them today (NYE) and see if there is a fun party with our fellow burners while in the islands.
