Custom Playa Cup D.I.Y.

Post by TomServo » Fri May 31, 2013 4:30 pm

Last year, while roaming the aisles of the 99 cent store in Bakersfield, I came across these cups. The designs were hideous, so I was naturally attracted to them. While fooling around with the cup, I found that the lid/cup insert unscrewed..and the paper design fell out. I bought one...took it home..and printed out my own design.

I found, that the 99 cent store sells these online, by the case..$24 for 24 cups.(search 99 cent store site for SKU: 619062 or Coffee mug with paper insert) I wouldn't normally gift a cup, on principle...but every now and then, I've met a poor soul who really really needs a fucking cup. so I will be gifting a few of these this year...after I resize the design.

Fabulous idea!

. . . I have done the same with "Hannah Montana"-brand caribeener-clip sanitizers. They were so handy and so awful I had to gift them.
