Potable Water for 55 gallon drums

Post by Sinergy » Wed Aug 26, 2015 1:09 am

Heading up from Arizona and was wondering if a recommendation could be made on acquiring potable water for 2- 55 gallon drums along the way. Fallon being the last place we would want to acquire it. I researched a rest stop along the way in Wadsworth and the Church Hill County Fairgrounds in Fallon. I am unsure on both of the places I have researched. We will not be going to Reno on our route. Thanks in advance for any recommendations. ♥

The water is not necessarily for drinking but primarily to pump into our RV when and if we are able to get pumped out.

Can't help you with exactly what you want, but have you checked the resource page for Fallon and Fernley?

I don't know how you're going to transport 55 gal drums, but I'm a big fan of getting my water in Gerlach.
Tastes great. Carrying less weight up and down the hills from Fernley to Gerlach, and in BM traffic.

That's one word I regret googling during breakfast.

Video games are giving kids unrealistic expectations on how many swords they can carry.

Sage Valley RV Park in Fallon was very friendly to us. We are camping there on Saturday night and will be filling our extra water as well.

I would think for a fee you could dump tamks and top off the water.

I have read the resource pages for Fernley and Fallon and the information provided is great but was just reaching out to get more options. We will have a trailer that the drums will ride on.

I will look into Sage Valley RV Park in Fallon.

♥ Thanks ♥
