Storing and hauling EMT

Post by 100 Proof » Sun Jun 16, 2024 1:02 pm

I have 28 5 ft long sections of EMT conduit. What is the best way people have found to bundle that up for easy storage, handling, and transport?

EMT comes in 10' sections. Anything longer would be a special order from the manufacturer.
Do you have 10' and shorter sections that have been connected together?

Thanks Patsh. I saw a decimal where there wasn't one.

Wrapping 10ea sections with duct tape or velcro, even bungie balls should work.
If you want to carry them on your roof you might want to use duffle bags so they don't slide out when you brake.

Definitely bungie balls for bundling, they keep the bundle tight where tape may or may not. Plus they're reusable and leave no messy residue, both a big plus
