Hexayurt

Post by inosynt » Mon Jul 14, 2025 2:27 pm

Long time Burner, first time with a Hexayurt. I'd like to be able to hang my clothes from a bar or cable strung across the yurt. Is this possible? Can the sides support it or will the foam break? How do I attach to the edges? If not, perhaps a portable wardrobe? Tips on how to accomplish this?
And any other warnings or tips about Hexayurts. Thank!

I'd recommend a portable wardrobe. Insulation foam panels aren't intended to be load-bearing (it's already a stretch to use them to build the structure), and even if it doesn't cause breakage or crumbling MOOP immediately, it could weaken the integrity of the structure over time.
