Anyone have an average amount of water usage per day in an RV?
Of course we will be using the portos as much as possible & .....
..... going easy with the showers
..... using a sprayer for dish washing
..... and bringing seperate drinking water!
Thanks,
Wunder

Hopefully your camp mates will understand that you should shower by turn the shower water off while lathering and do a quick rinse. I strongly suggest paper plates to eliminate the water waste. I understand not wanting to waste paper products...your call.
We average about 4 gallons a day if people are showering.
Keep an outside kitchen if you can...tends to keep things cleaner which will keep the water usage down from cleaning the kitchen etc.

we only use our RVs water for showers, and even with that we only allow one 5 minute shower per person the whole week (same way frenchblue describes above). Any additional showers are done the same way as a tent camper, or, for me, using "No Rinse Body Wash" during the week.

I budget about 10 to 15 gallons per day, for two people (Me and Amy, who has very long hair... )
I don't understand all the extreme water conservation at BM.
I bring three 30-gallon barrels of water, and when my camper tank is empty I pump in more, and dump the greywater into the same barrel I just emptied.
You can fill your water in Reno or Cedarville or somewhere within 100 miles of the playa, so you don't have to carry it that far.
I also don't understand all the concern with evap ponds. You trucked all that water in... why not simply truck it out?
Man, you guys all suffer more than you need to!
