Mylar Suppliers?

Post by inhumantsar » Mon Jun 22, 2009 5:17 pm

So! For my tent shade (and possibly a shade structure too), I'm planning to glue mylar sheeting to a standard tarp with some of that wonderful 3M spray adhesive. Depending on how well the mylar survives being glued to a tarp, I may also add a tougher clear plastic sheet on top as well to protect it (and to keep from mooping all over the place.

Anyways, my question: Does anyone know of a reputable place that sells mylar in rolls? I'd like to have like 150ft or so on hand just in case I fuck up some of it or need to do some on-playa repairs. The only shop I've found online is a little sketchy looking: http://www.mylarstoreonline.com/150ft.html

PS: Bonus points if it's local to Vancouver BC, Seattle, Portland or Eugene.

Any store that sells pot growing equiptment keeps that stuff in stock, there is probably one within a block of where you live.

You will need a stronger glue than spray adhesive to make it stick and last out there, any ofy of the GOOP varieties would work fine.
We have an obligation to make space for everyone, we have no obligation to make that space pleasant.

Ugh! I must be fully retarded. Thanks :D

A quick Google Maps for "hydroponics near me" yielded 15 results, 1 is a 5 minute walk away :P
