How to stand out in a huge village
How to stand out in a huge village
I'm at Entheon Village this year, which has some 200-250 people camping there.
I want to do something so my friends can find me in that huge camp. I'm in a friend's RV this year. So far I haven't come up with anything. I keep thinking some kind of tower would be great but I dunno.
I probably can't budget more than $200 for this either.
Any suggestions? Thanks for reading.

Get about 2 yards of some lime green or other day-glo fabric you can tell your friends to look for, and make a flag. For a pole you could use PVC or lots of other choices, but, I swear, all you need to connect the fabric to the pole is duct tape. If the winds get fierce, your pole will break before the tape/pole/fabric become undone.
10' PVC pipe $3
Emergency Blanket $3
Clip LED light from Walgreen 2 for $3
Beer $191
Fits perfectly in to your $200 budget

I have a weather balloon, never used, 12ft diameter.
To rent a tank of 291cu.ft. (for 9' balloon) costs $96.
I'm not sure if I'd need more helium, or just use what there is in the 291ft cannister.
I assume some kevlar kite string would be the best choice.
As far as solar lights, would one just find the cheapest "pathway" or "garden" light and remove the guts of it, or is there a nifty stand alone one?

RV windows
I'd read tips on covering RV windows to keep out the dirt. We went one step further & decorated the coverings to match our camp. If you stenciled or drew something distinctive in one of the windows, it could be something to look for.
