RV Detailing Recommendation (Reno or Socal)

Post by verylazy » Wed Jul 31, 2013 12:27 pm

Hi there,

Was wondering if anyone out there has any RV detailing recommendations in and around Reno or Southern California. I got pricing from one place in Sparks for $20 per foot, which seemed a bit on the steep side. Anyone know of anything cheaper, or is that the going rate?

Thanks in advance.

much much easier and cheaper to do a few small things as prevention inside

No clue what the going rate is, but if you think you might end up cleaning it yourself, note these threads (google clean RV eplaya or similar).

How big is the rv? A 27 footer would be $540...

Thanks so much for all the replies! You guys rock.

We unfortunately have very very little time between leaving the playa and having to return the RV (work...), so we were hoping to find a car wash that could take care of all the hard work for us, as long as it's not too pricey. If not, then we will do it ourselves, but if it's not *too* expensive, then we're down to splurge.

The RV is 34' - quite a monster, but a few people will be sharing.

Thanks again everyone, your help is very much appreciated!

If you follow the link I gave, 4th post gives you the details of getting the outside washed in Wadsworth, soon after you leave the playa.
If you check the advice on prepping the RV before you hit the playa, the inside cleanup is rather easy, and makes for very quick work with two or three people at it. So if you do the inside or pay someone, either way it's faster so should be cheaper?

Does anyone know if the Wadsworth cleaning station will be up and running again in 2014?
