Aluminet

Post by Sinergy » Fri Jul 11, 2014 12:51 am

We are building a shade structure and have aluminet that we will be putting on the top and the sides. We will be securing the alimunet with ball bungees around the structure. My question is..do we need to secure the aluminet to the ground. If it is secured on 3 sides is it necessary to secure to the ground as well.
This is an example of what we are bringing. but 10 x 20
Thanks in advance for your comments or suggestions ♥

If its under tension, and enough of it, no.

If it has little tension, or stretches over time with wind and whatnot, yes.

Bring some 12" nails (Carpenter Nails, get em at big box stores) just in case so you are prepared for any outcome.

Thanks for the input. We plan on bringing extra supplies for the just in case scenario.
Better to have than not have.
If we end up not needing them, we will share with someone who might need them.
