Building space in SF for geodesic dome construction

Post by sjmcleaver » Mon Aug 10, 2015 2:03 pm

Does anybody know of a good public space in San Francisco that would work for building a ~20ft. diameter PVC geodesic dome? We tried building in an open meadow in Golden Gate Park last weekend but were asked to leave because we didn't have a permit.

That's weird, we've set ours up there a few times. People use the panhandle park area to set stuff up.

Is it one of those shelter systems playa domes?
