Greetings, all.
What is this magical stuff called stucco tape? I've gone to both major chains of home improvement stores in my area, and they look at me like I'm crazy when I ask for stucco tape. They have no clue what it is. I was lucky one would admit to knowing about reflectix, but now I have no reliable way to attach the stuff to the RV. Help, please. What is a substitute name for stucco tape?

It's red plastic stretchy and repositionable for up to 30 days. It leaves no residue. It's 2" wide and a big roll for $5 or $6. Mine says Scoth 3M Contractors heavy duty Poly stucco tape 3260. If you can't find it call some contractors or stucco guys to help. Do not remove under extreme heat. (so pull it off in the cooler hours. I love it.

And it is apparently unknown on the east coast. It shows up on the store websites, but not in the stores themselves.

It's available in a poly base or a cloth base. It's the poly base that Ratty used on-playa.
Cloth-base performance unknown for on-playa use.
Stuco Tape's 'tape' isn't as strong as Gaffer's, but the hold is similar, for far less cost.
High-hold, UV resistant, waterproof, comformable, and typically a "14 day Clean Removal".
Typically rated down to 32F, but up to 160F.
I've seen the poly version in Lowe's in upstate NY.

I found stucco tape in the paint section near the painters tape at the Home D.

I have some and it's been doing pretty well for multiple stick down and peel operations holding the flap of a cardboard box closed. Most tapes, I wouldn't expect to stick it down even once after peeling it off cardboard. Will be bringing a roll just in case (gotta seal all crevices against THE BUGS!).
