Custom Camp Flag
For those of you with custom camp flags, where did you get yours? I couldn't find any mention of custom camp flags in ePlaya. A G---le search yielded a few possibilities but a known source would be preferred. PM would be great to avoid any decommodification indiscretions. Thanks.

I'm sure any local screen printing shop could handle your needs.

Re: Custom Camp Flag
I need one or two made too. I have been all over the net and prices vary greatly.
What surprises me is what they get for screening a 3x5 flag. Is there something I am missing with what it takes to screen or 'digitally print' a flag? Especially if I provide the artwork print ready and do the layout.
I'm going to a couple of local shops next week to discuss this very question.....

I have no experience with digital printing but can explain some of why silk screening large sizes is expensive.eldergeekaz wrote:I need one or two made too. I have been all over the net and prices vary greatly.

First, most custom screeners are geared for tee shirts so their equipment is set up for images under 24 inches. Many will probably farm out orders for larger sizes and tack on a fee for reselling it so try to find someone who can do that work in house.
Making a screen typically requires creating a transparency to lay atop the emulsion before exposing the screen to UV light. A 3 x 5 screen would require a substantially large plotter to make this transparency.
Each color would require a screen and the labor to create each one is the same regardless of if you are printing one flag or a thousand tee shirts. This is why most screen printers charge a screen fee on small orders.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.
