Mountains Surrounding BRC

Post by PocoJoe » Mon Jul 25, 2016 7:35 am

HI All,
Sometime in the past, I have seen a panorama that shows the mountains that surround Black Rock City, and gives their names and the general direction (ie, north, south) that they lie with respect to the man.

I cannot find it, and would like to work up an art piece that incorporates the skyline.

Can anyone point me to such a panorama?

thank you

PocoJoe

Black Rock is way off in the distance north. Razorback us to the east

Maybe trilo can point you in the right direction. He did some art last year with the mountains

The BLM publishes a pamphlet with this info. Check their website.

Thank you all. I spoke with an interpretive Ranger in Winnemucca who said "Yep, its in the pamphlet" - then offered to mail me one!
