Kodiak Tent: 10x10 or 10x14 for a couple? Deluxe worth it?

Post by Jas » Fri Aug 11, 2017 8:57 am

oh hey there, you saucy dust lovers.

I'm down to the wire and need guidance on which Kodiak I should go for. It's me and my lady, might bring two cots or lay some sort of bedding on the ground, though it would be nice to have a little breathing room in the tent. We'll keep our fold-out table outside, but might opt to keep the essentials inside...

So, what say ye: is 10x10 a-ok? Or should I go for the Orgy Dome 10x14? Deluxe version or standard? Halp plz!

Hi,

Go for the 10x14. You will have room for ALL THE THINGS.

My love and I have the same and it rocks on the Playa!!

Bigger is better.

Since This type of tent can last decades if cared for, do it right the first time.

We have tent camped at Burning Man for 4 years. Be sure your tent does not have vents in to roof. Bring a king-size flat sheet to cover your bedding during the day, keeps the bed much cleaner. Take Care, Drive Safe,

I regret only getting a 10x10 not a 10x14 for the husband and I :(

I don't camp in tents often. But when I do, I camp in the 10x14.

Will 10 in leg screws be enough to hold the tents?
