Has anyone tried to use one of these solar fountain thingies as the core to a potential gray water evap tank in a kiddie pool or something?

Seems like it's similar to this idea:

... but perhaps more modern? I'm interested in chatting with anyone who's thought about it or done it.

A PV panel floating on water is said to be a good way to keep them cool to keep them efficient. However, the fountain of water would be blocking the sun some?
And the gunk in the grey water would end up coating the PV panel and blocking it working?

Evaporation is better in the day, but good to start your evap day early and continue late - requiring changing the aim of the panels or using a battery. You will evap at night in the low humidity.
With the wind a fountain is going to scatter grey water droplets downwind which is nasty.
The evapotron grey-b-gone where the water is in a mesh or a cloth and hauling your grey water out are proven solutions.
I can see the attraction of an all in one purchased product. But investing in some solar panels and batteries for a pump allows reuse of the solar/battery for year round home or camping use.
Of course burners are famous for their basement, garage. storage unit of things they did not know they didn't need!

We had better luck with pumping the water over a chickenwire frame with burlap draped over it.
