Stapling LED neon flex to the playa?

Post by spolsky » Tue Jun 18, 2019 5:02 pm

For the Gay Turtles' camp this year I want to make lighted pathways. I was planning to use this "LED neon flex" stuff. It's basically an LED strip in a very robust silicon case. You can step on it, twist it, bend it, dunk it in water, etc. and it will probably survive.

Trying to figure out the best way to pin it down. The only thing I've found so far is 6" galvanized landscape staples. But wouldn't the ground be too hard? I'm imagining that I'll be trying to hammer those in and they'll just bend instead of going into the ground.

What do you think?

I think the first 6 inches are often loose and won't hold anything down.
