Advice needed: Lighting our structure

howdy!

My crew, Suspension of disbelief, has been madly crocheting a big ol' jungle gym for y'all to climb on and now we are working out our lighting details.

We're thinking of using lamp posts outside the piece (6 total) to attach LED spot lights too and shine onto the whole thing. Preferably with our 12 volt batteries built into the base to power the lights.

Any suggestions/advice on efficient ways to build and secure said lamp posts?

3 will work just fine if each post has multiple lights pointed in different angles WRT center.

That's a good idea, you could also have a couple of floor mounted lights inside the structure shooting up and out. Or you could also look at attaching something linear like LED strip or EL wire to the structure itself to highlight the structure. Although I guess the crocheting is more the feature, it's probably too late to incorporate something like this but here's a picture from Sydney's recent Vivid Festival you may find interesting.
