Fellow Burners,
Any good suggestions on making musical electronics Playa-Proof, or at least safe from the hearty conditions? Guitars do ok, But what about drum machines?, Kaoss Pad!?, mixers?, amps?..
Some re-chargeable systems don't fare well in the alkaline dust (I've lost 2 amps), Plastic bags can cause electro-static damage, moisture/condensation, Dreaded Dust, LCD death...
I've heard Saran Wrap, vacuum sealed packaging, double bagging and taping all seams. Shrink wrap maybe? Lamanation? Dipped in Wax and coated, Permeable bubble technology? Vortex force field?

Just put it into one of the ginormous ziploc bags. I bought some for my clothes last year....about 3 -r 4 feet long....
Won't diminish the sound all that much...
