Ok soooo. Got an idea. Want to buy a 3 way splitter for 3.5mm headphone jack. One port will go to the sound system the other two will be hooked up to rockit 3.0's (yes I am finally getting them this year) those are being connected to 2. 4 foot long Tupperware totes... So
By doing so will it cut down the sound output or quality to the rockits or to the sound system?

That'll sound... interesting.
If you use a passive splitter it'll divide the power among all the destinations. It may not matter though, as those speakers are self-powered, and I assume the sound system won't drop too much power either. Best thing to do is just run a test with a splitter and see if it works.

Splitting at that signal level will not reduce the sound quality. Not sure about the tupperware part.
