ATT air card

Post by bruce_w » Wed Aug 21, 2013 6:54 pm

Has anyone used a ATT air-card on the playa? I might need to do some work and it would be nice if I knew how well these work for internet access.

TIA

I've only ever heard of Verizon working on Playa and then you have to head out to the trash fence to even get it.

Best bet is to hunt for wifi.

If you are feeling thrifty and/or spendy you could buy one of these, point it at center camp(ish) and hope for the best.

Just assume you are cut off from the world out there. Which is how it should be.

Which is maybe how it should be for YOU. And unless you are the boss of Burning Man, it may not be the way it should be for others.

When I was a kid I used to pray every night for a new bicycle.
Then I realized that the Lord doesn't work that way so I stole one and asked Him to forgive me
