Playa Knitters?

I noticed an event on the Playa Calendar called "Playa Knitters" - taking place on Monday, August 28th... but no details!

I'm totally addicted to knitting, and a playa stitch-n-bitch would kick so much ass I can't even tell you. Wow. (Last year I knit my own fuzzy purple legwarmers on the drive out to the playa - woo!)

So does anyone know the deal with this? Do we just walk around knitting and smiling? Are there knitters meeting up in Center Camp? Someone clue me in! I would love to meet more Burner/Knitters!

I don't know about that.
I do know that I will make sure that knitters are welcome at the Eplaya Bar Camp--I'll be hosting them at 11:00 am to 2:00 pm MOn-FRi Madame Defarge's Knitting Circle. Unfortunately I decided that I was going to also do my project (Turn Schwag into SuperSchwag) at that same time, because I wasn't sure of demand for either project. So I don't know how much I'll be able to help out. However, you're most definately welcome.
There is another group with a really cool acronym that will also be doing knitting, but I can't find them so I can't point you in the right direction.
When I do, I'll try and remember to post here.

I finished knitting my very first sock this morning! It only took me 5 months. I'll probably be plugging away on the second one during the knitting circle.
