Body Paint

Post by cincarus » Tue Mar 31, 2009 12:11 pm

I loved the body paints decorative work i have been noticing on various sites that have been here.

They are very VERY nice! I just wanted to tell any and all who do this they are fantastic. :D :D

Oh if you paint someone how does that affect the sunscreen you are wearing? Is it lessened or does the paint block more of the rays. I would think it would block more.

I too enjoyed checking out all of the different body art designs on the participants but for some reason my wife kept smacking me upside the head.

Seriously though, I would really love to have my face done up with Henna. Anybody know of any camps that gifted that last year?
Excuse me Ma'am, your going to feel a small prick.

Funny, I kept getting smacked too. Now I think I finally know why!
Body paint must be a bad thing.

This year I am going to try to find someone to paint clothes on me. I feel so naked sometimes.

That picture is fantastic!

You have to be one heck of an artist though.

I'd do that my friends suck at painting like me! :D

Oooo! Fabulous! I really must try and see if I have any such talent. My Grandfather had that kind of skill, so maybe I inherited some on his talent?

Can anyone advise us on the type of paint to buy? I found some on the interweb, but in such tiny quantities.

sunscreen and body paints

Post by cincarus » Tue Apr 07, 2009 11:42 am

I wonder how sunscreen affects the body paints? Now you would need it since the sun is so strong, certainly if you painted on an 'outfit'

Good question cincarus. I guess that if you used a cream sun blocker first then painted over it, it should work for any spots that were not painted. I believe that depending on the type of paint you use it too may block out the sun. I have some latex body paint and I read the directions and warnings again and it didn’t say anything about the effects of using a sunscreen. I will be available to help you get to those hard to reach spots if needed. :P

Looks like taking the paint OFF would be more 'interesting' than putting it on! :D

I'm an airbrush artist that normally does makeup. I'm bringing a skin care product that not only block the sun, but are medicated and treat sun-burns, rashes. They will be applied with an airbrush. Very southing.
I love you just the way you are.

Body paint is a good idea... I have troubles finding clothes that would fit me perfectly... :D

Great art!!! By the way... if you don't think about what's underneath the paint, then its not gross...

What's underneath is what makes it interesting. I saw one online where the model was wearing like a racing uniform with corporate logos, very cool.
