Reminds me of the time in 2001 when I was aa trip guide for a buddy that put down some shrooms. I remember going out to the big maze that was between the man and the temple.

It was Friday night before gate opens and back then you could just show up anytime and get in.

Despite the maze being half built, it was very fun to to be a guide and lead the trip with subtle suggestions.

Mutaytor and Megavolt were doing a jam in the distance, tesla coil cracking the playa into submission, Emerald City was lit up like a beacon of green with high powered lasers painting the mountains.

A dozen fire cannon cars were blasting away in a mock battle mid playa.

The megaphone asshole from Milwaukee was tearing up the playa in his beater and slinging whitty drunk insults at all comers ...

What a blast from the past. I remember all of that, Token! Even the megaphone asshole from Milwaukee! He was hilarious. I have not heard someone freestyle like that on a megaphone since . . .

The thread was started by a troll, and I'm surprised to see it's been taken seriously.

The serious danger for people who get by on nothing but their looks is that sometimes they end up with nothing but a desperate search for past glory:
Image

People who are already caricatures of human beings end up as cartoons drawn by sidewalk sketch artists. (Not talking about Dolly here, by the way.) But that's what people who think they're beautiful have to look forward to, I guess. shrug - I'll never know.

Just trolling, hon. Just trolling.

I think CFM just stepped up to the plate and I'm just dyin' to hear her go off, at 4am.

The only person that came close was the MC for dance dance immolation. He was sharp.

CFM, we need to make a Playa date! We go art car hopping with a 40W megaphone, I'll bring the Angry Serb(tm) muscle and you bring the serpent tongue.

I dink Scotch, whats your poison Dahling?

See what he did there? He corrected your spelling then called you a hypocrite to show that he doesn't recognize irony.

At the same time, he misspelled "hypocrite" to show that he does understand irony. Brilliant!

(That is what you were doing, right?)

Yea, lol, i'm glad someone caught it

DONE.

Sake, mead or gin.

You'll protect me from the ravers insulted by my informing them about their lack of dance skills, right?

OH. If you brew me some mead...I will be your best friend. It is my favourite, and since I swapped burns for pagan gatherings I don't get any.

I don't have a camp, yet.

I'm thinking an apricot mead. You digg apricot? If not I make a non-flavored type.

I used to go to pagan shit. Now, I go to burns. I'd stock up on mead while at said pagan fests to carry me through the year. Now, I don't have that option.

I like plain ol' mead, but beggars can't be choosers, and I'm just pleased as punch - or mead - that you'd even consider taking the time to make it. Your choice!

I'll back up CFM with ya, for a taste of luscious apricot mead.

and, I can be a tiger, when provoked

Can I just say, the very idea of getting drunk and trolling hippies with Don Knotts and a tall Serb tickles me to no end?

This year's already better than last year...

ok, I get it.........I was worried, what sort of Pagan gathering you'd be attending, that has no mead?.

dang are we all related?
love of mead, and, attempts at speaking Czech.......well, Misa has us there.

I'd love a good mead recipe, Token, if you'd share.
I made 15 gals years ago, it lasted quite a while, but, it's all gone........
and, I've been saving elderberries, for flavoring some, when I make another batch.
I used champagne yeast, it made it quite strong, and, a little bubbly.......

I have a recipe, and the stuff to make it with...uses brewer's yeast. I'll try to remember to find it when I get home.

This will be my first crack at Mead. I can brew a strong ale in my sleep but never did mead. One of my camp mates has and my brew club has a font of knowledge.

Less than 2 months may be an issue. Might be a touch sweet and young.

I figure a 5 gallon batch is in order.

I love it!!!!

The board has taken casanova's young, pretty, sour, unwrinkled lemons and turned them into Apricot Mead!!! HUZZAH!!!!!

If that isn't radical self reliance and BM ingenuity, I don't know what is!

Yeah, I did think "He doesn't have enough time..." but again. It'll be a bit bouncy, I've had 2-month mead. But still GOOD!

ETA:

Let's see...I've had...peach, raspberry, blueberry, peach, blackberry, ginger, jalapeno...probably another odd flavor or two.

Can I come with? I bring all the characteristics you all love to mock, and yet a sense of irony! Mild elitism and sparkle-poniness but I can laugh at myself!

Can you prove that?
