Me thinks that Casanova is a very clever troll that has sucked a lot of folks into his little mind games. I am personally offended at the sight of Abercrombie & Fitch (aka fratboy outfitters) so I make a point to walk on the other side of the mall.

Less than 2 months may be an issue. Might be a touch sweet and young.

I figure a 5 gallon batch is in order.
Just make sure you use a little yeast nutrient in it and it should be great.

I figured as much on the yeast nutrients.

I assume the must needs to be oxygenated just like wort before the pitch.

I expect no Irish moss either.

Correct me if I'm wrong on these.

Cool, I'll give it a try. I use the whirflock tablets but it's all for the same purpose.

My thinking was that for mead there really shouldn't be much protein to remove which is what clarifiers typically do in a beer.

Wow, honey is expensive. It'll be ~$60 just for the honey.

Beer is half that for 5 gallons.

Heh, yeah, those are from a few years ago, I got the new (then) HP, the bottle of Bombay and a box of Godiva for my birthday. The pics were thank-yous (me passed out drunk naked under a book with chocolate melted on my face).

And they were staged, HONEST. Nothing like that EVER really HAPPENS to me...oh nooooo...

Thank you, FaeTora, that is very kind.

I could fill a Taschen book with pics of me and bottles of gin, ha ha!
