I have a costume idea for NYE that would require me to paint my entire body a solid color (probably gold or silver). I have never worked with body paint before. Can anybody tell me what I should use and where I can find it. Any tips about using that stuff would be cools as well.
Thanks - Chris

There once was an older version of the eplaya with stuff on bodypaint. The tech people apparently haven't fixed access to it for users since their last crash, but it's searchable via Google -- click on the "cached" results:

You can check out my page on this topic here.
I know there are some broken links, I'm lazy and haven't updated in awhile!
Anyways, There's all kinds of things you can do. If you just want a solid color there's nearly always a group there that sets up little wading pools, and sprayers of vegetable dye.

Silver or Gold body paint
Hi Chris,
One solid color makes it easier.
If you didn't need silver or gold, I'd say visit the folks at Sporosite, they offer food coloring dye sprayed out of garden sprayers while you stand in a wading pool.
If you really want gold or silver, there are a couple of options. Depends on how you want to apply the paint.
Airbrush or paintbrush.
One other option is to use liquid latex covered with a glitter, makes it look just like you are covered in gold or silver.
Krylon Airstream is good, but expensive airbrush paint.
Australian Body Art Temp Tattoo is good too. But the color aint the brightest.
You might also think about a one piece spandex body suit. They make them is silver and gold. Nice stuff too.
Ping me directly if you want more detailed info
