I haven't read all of this thread but have to say that I agree that this sounds like crazy moop potential and I would be one to politely decline. I know I wouldn't wear it.

His latest iteration of his project has way less moop potential, with a much much smaller scale.
And sounds more like an achievable project, with a good chance of success.
