Hip Hop/80s dancing?

It seems like techno/house is the dominant music people dance to at Burning Man. Is that a fair characterization? Nothing against techno/house, but are people aware of camps that throw dance parties geared toward hip hop/80s?

I understand Camp Neu (formerly Club Verboten) will be in the 4:30 portal (just off Esplanade), serving up plenty of 80's. I recall an 80's/90's camp in the 9 o'clock plaza last year, but am not sure if they'll be there again this year. Check the neighborhood threads on the theme camp board to see who's posting what.

Our camp Outpost23 will be throwing down 2 80's parties and one hiphop party in the week. We are located at 9 and D this year. First party is the 80's prom at Greeters on Sunday August 26th at Greeters station from 8pm-midnight ( gate opening party ). On Wednesday the 29th we are throwing a hiphop themed party at our camp from 2-6pm and special guest from 6pm- midnight. On Thursday the 30th from 2-6pm is Excess: our 8th annual 80's daytime party hosted by DJ Sparkle. Please come and enjoy

My mistake.....The Wed night special guest is playing from 6pm till sunset. All of our parties including guests will be listed in the Rockstar Librarian.
