I guess it's now been long enough, I can be bummed that my g/f has not received a model of the man that she bought from a camp that was selling them as a fund raiser. She paid for this model in July, in hopes of getting it before we left for the desert. Didn't happen, but there was some communication with the camp that we may be able to pick it up on playa, we couldn't find them, and they said they couldn't find us, which I totally understand because our location was moved upon arrival. But, the communication since being back has been "yeah, its ready to be mailed out as soon as I get to the PO", to "It's almost ready" and now it's been about three weeks since any response from phone calls, emails, or F/B messages.
It's a bummer, cause the camp was supposedly doing a great community service outside of BM, and the model looked really cool. But I wonder if they did follow through with their off playa mission, or she just helped to fund somebodies party....
What other people think about you is none of your business.

My donations were on both Kickstarter and Indiegogo:

Anubis - got my stuff, thank you so much Candybox, considering all the work that was done
Fertilitree - got my stuff, but then, I helped make it too
Temple of Juno - i just made a donation, no swag
Black Rock Bijou - got it!
A Movable Feast - got it!
Zoa - I just made the donation, and what a great burn Zoa was

I will gift again to more projects, it was a good experience
