So what are you doing for the Meet & Greet in 2012?
Re: So what are you doing for the Meet & Greet in 2012?
Assuming I can make it (Tallgrass Burners is planning on doing C.O.R.E. this year so if we do, and it's looking likely, then I probably won't be able to be there. Sadly.) then I will bring something, but not sure what yet.
Last year I just grabbed a 750 of tequila and a 750 of SKYY and tossed them in the cooler.
The random factor kinda sucks, but I do see the arguments on both sides. I think I chimed in earlier about a pseudo-private looking area to not-exactly bar people but discourage them from grabbing up all the food brought for the MnG.
I think I was talking to Yggy or JK last year, when I noticed a full bottle of pickled asparagus had just been opened. By the time I worked my way through the crowd with various meeting, greeting, hugging, chatting and gift exchanging along the way, around to the other side of the table the bottle was empty. Even the juice was gone. As soon as the food was all snarfed down, suddenly there were far fewer people in the camp and it all seemed to be eplayans left... wondering what happened to the huge buffet everyone had brought, lol.

Has anyone done a study on which brand is more aerodynamic?moonrise wrote:

Which explodes better?
Which is easier to pitch a curve with?
Which produces sharper edges? (Safety Third)
Which produces better foam?
We may need to bring several brands and do an in depth study to further mankinds knowledge of fizzball.
Fizzball - the single greatest achievement in sports history.

Hawaiian beaches, mmm mm. (I'm jealous!)
Fizz Ball. I just bought a nice fencing helmet for 5 bucks, I wonder could it be an epic fizz ball helmet? Or better yet, it sure works well as an anti-smoking device, lmao, I discovered that the hard way recently.
I'm thinking I'll tie some wigs or strands to the helmet and make some odd fizz ball whatchamacallit.
While wearing the thing you can see out, but no one can see in, mid range safety 2nd I'd guess.

lol.. I literally ran into your name tag in the middle of Oahu. All I can say is that we are everywhere and that it never ceases to amaze me. I was actually planning on doing a traveling gnome project with it and take pictures with it all over the state after it was entrusted to me to help find it's way back to you after some shenanigans. It's here safe and sound in FL along with a Hawaiian present for you..mdmf007 wrote:Looks like Ralf is on the beach having a blast - That is indeed a nekkid lady. Good going Jungle.

I like the items I brought over last year: ice and absinthe. Since I will be working the door/registration door most of the night I will keep the absinthe with me and provide shots like Misa did with her lovely Slivovice. I don't think I would have gotten to sample it had she not done that!

Re: So what are you doing for the Meet & Greet in 2012?
RE: Fizzball. My two cents. I learned the game from the oh so awsome Chuck Revell (Dyna-Lite for those who know him). The beer of choice was Keystone Light. Now clearly any old canned beer would work, but the cheaper the better. Trader Joe's had Playa Beer last summer for $2.99/six pack, but I couldn't bring myself to donate it to the Fizzball game so I inflicted it upon our guests instead. Put it this way: If it weren't free, would you drink it much less buy it? If the answer is NO, then that's the perfect canned beer for Fizzball. Batter up!

Wal greens has this own brand god shitty stuff. It's called Big Flats. It's $2.99 for a six pack everywhere. Ick. If I get a chance to hit up one when I get to Reno I will bring some with for fizz ball. Also I was told Northstar beer that is sold at some aldi locations is 4.99 per 12 pack.

I'll bring an aluminum bat & keystoned beer, most likely, seeing as how I hate that brand and in honor of Dyna-Lite.

Damn, I was all set to break out the lab coat and apply for federal grant money to study the comparative aerodynamic properties of various cheap beers in a desert environment.Dr. Pyro wrote:RE: Fizzball. But I think thats kinda like TnT's usual delivery system but on a much smaller scale.
