I thought corsets served surveillance in the other direction. :?

Seriously I imagined you searching out corset-wearers and asking probing questions.

Now I imagine you standing there while folks answer "....uhhhh, what was the question?" while gazing at your clea clipboard.

So... I don't think anyone else has offered lemonade, yet. And by "lemonade," I mean "squash," for you Aussies and Brits.

We're somewhat limited in options seeing as we're flying into Reno, across the border from Canada. But we can make sugar into syrup and squeeze juice out of lemons and mix it all up with ice water -- yes. we. can!

Delish!

We'd call that homemade lemonade (and damn tasty)

Squash is that yellow "sprite" stuff. Commonly called Solo.

Oh, that's confusing...
My Mum, who's from Aus (Brisbane -- but she's been in Canada 42 years, so maybe her dialect's a little rusty?) uses "lemonade" to refer to the clear fizzy stuff, i.e. Sprite or 7up.

7up = lemonade. lemon and syrup and ice = homemade lemonade.

Squash is yellow coloured - looks like wee

I may or may not allow floggings with wet noodles upon my barren back.

Does it make me weird that I literally had a vision of this happening perchance recently?

Last year people mentioned something about making a list of what people are bringing, so I did it. Would we like another list this year? I'll do it before the pages keep adding up.

Cpart- will this be a list like you theme camp list? BDV didn't make it onto that list. Are you sure you'll have time to drop by?

There is already a list, linked earlier in this thread.

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc ... XRnc#gid=0
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

DAB,
I think felony is talking about the list that cpart made and posted--maybe last week. It's somewhere on this board, I'm not going to look for it.

I know, I was actually responding to Cpart although I guess I could have made that more obvious.

Edit: We had a quick power failure between the time I started this post and finished it and apparently Felony posted that while my system was restoring.

It's good you said something now, 'cause at Burning Man there's always the chance that someone MEANT to fall out of her corset, as an artistic statement about societal expectations and radical left expression.

You could also wear stickers or pasties underneath, just in case.

I would have loved to volunteer to be a bouncer, especially the kind that begs people to leave.

You're probably not whiney enough. If you get that mosquito buzz tone in your voice they should decamp quickly, chased by memories of particularly pathetic ex-girlfriends.

Why complicate things? - Just recruit a minion to follow you around and push them back in when necessary.

Oooh, I see I made the official M&Greet Mel's list for trash hauler guy, lots of fresh apples, and a baseball bat and some cheap beer. I have all of these bases covered, however if I recall correctly Doc mentioned we need 6 cases of cheapo beers. I am good for one case of Keystone-whatever-the-frick-it-is...but we're gonna need 5 more cases (I need space for the hard stuff) ;)

Just a dusty reminder, bring lots and lots of extra dust masks this year.
My favorite is the 3M P95 (about 2bux each) and I do have a full blown respirator, ugh.

Did anyone else in California feel the earth quake just now? I think it was a quake... Parhaps a burning reminder we're almost there!
Get yer prep done and stay on it! See ya's soon, soon...
I'm the MAN in a truck, burner who is stuck, you're in luck! I'll whip out my BIG tow chain and not charge you, not even one lousy buck!
