I made a Spreadsheet!

Post by International Incident » Wed Feb 22, 2012 3:57 am

Hello beloved eplayans....

I’ve had lots of people make offers to bring things, help on cleanup, or be the door bitches

Sadly some people won’t be attending because of the CORE burn - but I’m hoping those people (points at JStep and Trilo) will come early (say 6.30ish) and bless us so we can take a photo of them and pretend they are there for the rest of the night.

We are having door bitches this year - after all some of the food got nicked by non eplayans last year

I’ve made a spreadsheet so that we can all see what we are all doing.

The link is here

I’m not giving you edit rights, because someone will manage to delete something...

Please message me what you want to do, etc etc.

I’ll add to the spreadsheet as we go.

I know we are 6 months out - but if I look at the ticket threads while bored at work I will go mad. This will amuse me in those moments of legal dullness. :D

I was thinking to bring some Cabin Fever Maple Whiskey if I can find some in Reno since I'm flying in.
Savannah: I don't know what it is, but no thread here escapes alive. You'll get 1 or 2 real answers at minimum, occasionally 10 or 12, and then we flog it until it's unrecognizable and you can't get your deposit back.

Well, since we (me and mylarry) are in the village this year, I imagine some set up and/or clean up, some booze and juice, and some food. That's about as specific as I can get.

I'm actually dying to try it but striking out finding it around here so far. My son tried it at the Bourbon show and has been raving about how good it is.

Mel, I was going to have you put down for me absinthe, but I see you already beat me to it. I'm going to suggest to the Barbiebarians who are not denizens of the ePlaya (in upcoming newsletters) that in order to be both good hosts and better guests, they supply something and by something I mean food. BDC&WB will be supplying 6 bags of ice, of course the infrastructure, and some wine (though not much). I'll be supplying absinthe of course. And I think Texas Joe will have Barbie's Day Spa open for anyone who needs a massage or just needs to get groped a lot. I may just hang out there...

I'm a pretty adventurous eater.
I just made PBR poached Spam medallions with a Vegemite - Boones Farm reduction sauce and jalapeno jelly. Rather delightful.
But seriously, you couldn't pay me to drink that fish vodka. There's just no way.

Oh dear! so Lemoncillo it's not the soda thing that I drink here at lunchtime somedays....

2 signs would be awesome. That way when we have the roped off area where all the food and alcohol is it's pretty clear its a "semi-private" event. Private event sounds so I'll open the floor to suggestions for the "right' wording.

Thanks

I'm still searching for a ticket but I like to think positive and know it will work out. I usually make an organic blackberry/raspberry infused vodka. I use organic berries and either Kettle One or Grey Goose vodka. I soak the berries in the vodka for two weeks, switch them out with new berries for another two weeks, strain the vodka and serve warm or chilled. No sugar or anything else added other than vodka and organic berries. I usually make two gallons but I think I'll make 4 this year as I usually run out in the middle of the week. I run into a lot of people that don't drink vodka but usually their friend has a shot, they taste it and change their mind and want a shot. Either way is fine with me as I just like to share. I try to get the blackberries as close to Burning Man as I can as they're sweeter. I've made blueberry and strawberry before as well but the blackberry/raspberry combo seems to rock it for most people. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the playa this year. It's been interesting with the ticket situation but I'm curious to see how it all plays out.

Per the Limoncello/lemoncillo, maybe it is a matter of spelling that makes the difference? Limoncello originated in Italy, but there is a distillery right here in Ventura USA!

I thought if the signs simply said, "ePlaya Meet n Greet" that would be sufficient. Input please?

Hmmm, yeah, not sure why it's not going through... It's smoke salmon infused vodka. Not as disgusting as I thought it would taste... Sort of like vodka with a strong lox aftertaste. Haha.

I would be delighted to bring some praline bacon to the M&G this year. If anyone would be interested...

As much as I love both smoked salmon and vodka, I will NOT be partaking of smoked salmon vodka. *shudder*
