I am DETERMINED to make it to the Meet N Greet this time. In 2009, my Birgin year, my MR. was feeling poorly that evening and I had to help him back from the temple and shove some food into him. Before I knew it...I'd missed the M n G. I will BE there in 2012! Watch out Barbie!!!

I'm bringing my pickled quail eggs again including a batch pickled in straight Tabasco sauce.

Why does it always have to be straight Tabasco sauce? Especially when we know that glbt Tabasco sauce is much saucier...

Have you tried the garlic tabasco? It's really good, although it don't seem as hot.

I wanna play FizzBall! I think I can bring a baseball bat along (& maybe some canned Coors or other crappy beer, for practice)

And as I said earlier in this thread, I'm also good for taking out the extra MOOP, just needs to be done at dawn or noon on Friday.

Yeyah, should we use crappy beer (the brands we hate) and sodas?

Or is soda too sticky?

I hope I get to allllll the bases! Who wants to play?

a couple handheld stop signs would be good to keep unknowing bikers/etc. from entering the fizzball field and potentially getting whacked by a can. last year bad feelings erupted when somebody was being pushed out of the way for their own good and the pushee just thought somebody was being an asshole, and an altercation almost ensued. so i'll bring a couple signs.

Nonsense. Read the back of your ticket. I'm nearly certain that somewhere on it it states "...You voluntarily assume the risk of injury or death by someone playing Fizzball and you, knucklhead, weren't smart enough to get out of the way..."

Fizzball is the greatest sport ever created!

And isn't it a grand slam if you manage to knock someone out cold or take off their head altogether?

As a birgin I'm going to try not to over extend myself, but I'm really really looking forward to M&G and I'd love to make portable s'mores as a little treat. They are easy to make, easy to transport and SO good!

What are my plans for the 2012 Meet & Greet?

Why the same plans I make every year, I'm going to attend it. And this year, I really mean it. Unlike the last 5 years.

Please be really certain about this. In 2009 I found the remains of a sangria at the corner of the road. A damp patch with lemon slices and other fruit bits. Moop, moop, MOOP! And per Doc's instruction, you take it back with you. I'm thinking lemon rind in cup to whomever means that you are in danger of diffusing the moop to everyone, many of who will just individually drop it on the ground.

...or they can do the fruit slices my way. Someone asked me this year if they could have the lemon slice from my martini glass. I said, sure. It was rubber and glued onto the lexan martini glass. Very refreshing.
