Hear hear!!!

*grabs DAB by the shoulders and gazes frantically into his eyes*

Please, DAB, please, by anything you hold holy, please get my attention next year, slap me in the face if you have to, and show me your latest fashion travesty. You don't know

*bangs forehead against the keyboard*

you can't know how eagerly I was looking forward to showing you my own fashion travesty, carefully selected for the occasion, and bragging to you about how I made it myself no pattern out of the most miraculously wonderful new to me fabric.

*shivers in hideous remorse at the worst missed opportunity of 2011*

Thanks. I actually thought about that; but would prefer it out of a glass. (Not that I have anything against sucking a dick, I just don't like the idea of not knowing who's mouth was on that dick before mine. )

Corn on the cob is tricky on the playa. We brought about a dozen ears; used three or four withing two days for my "beer steamed shrimp with corn cobbettes". It was delicious. (corn also beer steamed with the shrimp.) The rest of the corn was saved for later in the week for my steak dinner. Sugars in corn breakdown very quickly, so I opted to boil the corn in water with salt and sugar rather than to try and grill it. The sugar made all the difference and made it taste almost as good as the first day. (Just a thought for anyone thinking about bringing corn and wanting it to taste good.)

Since I have an insane craving for rice crispy bars right now, I want to commit to bringing a bunch of bad-ass, candy-filled rice crispy bars to the M&G. And my husband, I guess I should bring him too.

Particularly if your husband is also bad-ass and candy-filled.
